The Mews Apartments are located in park like surroundings at 1 Batchelar Road, Palmerston North.

The Mews Apartments is located opposite and within a short walking distance (5-10 mins) from the internationally recognised Massey University.

You can readily and conveniently walk or cycle between The Mews and the University by highway underpass.

Located to the south and just beyond the Palmerston North urban area, The Mews Apartments are just over 3km from the city centre. The city central area can be easily accessed by car, bicycle, feet or bus, by travelling straight down Fitzherbert Avenue where a full range of retail, business and cultural facilities are available. Palmerston North and Massey University are well endowed with sporting and recreational facilities.

An alternate (and shorter) route for walking and/or cycling between The Mews and the city centre is available via the He Ara Kotahi bridge over the Manawatu River. This is accessed via Batchelar Road and Dairy Farm Road as shown on the attached map. On the city side of the river travel along Ruha St, Park Rd and Fitzherbert Ave to the city square.

A short distance from The Mews toward the city centre, across the mighty Manawatu River, is the botanical wonderland of Fitzherbert Park linking to other open space reserves including the delightful and restful riverside walk along the Victoria Esplanade.

For those requiring food and other provisions, there is a convenience store at Massey University which is open during normal business hours. A convenience store is available 24/7 at the BP Connect Service Station, 254 Fitzherbert Ave, just 1.7km from The Mews.

The closest full-scale supermarket to The Mews is located at 327 Ferguson St, just off Fitzherbert Ave, approx. 2.8km from The Mews.
